Too shelf place... Super food. best in the area

We had great meals last night here. The atmosphere, service and menu selection- fine. The plates are large n full of exquisite foods. My house antipasto had a bit too much dressing. I was pleased and surprised at modest totals for my bill. We will return.

Never heard of chicken-eggplant parmesan but it was the best. Very friendly, relaxed service too.

It is always one of our favorite date nights! And now our son is old enough to being him and we love, love it.

I travel and eat at many Italian eateries and this one is by far the best. Joe the chef creates every dish to perfection. The staff is wonderful. You won't be disappointed, very, very good. Love it recommend it highly. Can’t wait to go back. Very memorable.

Excellent little gem. Portions are really nice! You arent overloaded with pasta for a change. My eggplant parmigiana was delicious, and the desserts are yummy too, with thoughtful presentation. It's a bit expensive, but totally worth it. Definitely a place to go for a nice treat.

Watch out they screw you on prices, ordered homemade pasta with sausage, menu says 18.95 got charged 25.95. Wife's meal was 8.00 higher than the menu and it was on special!! Will never go back. It took us 2 hrs for us to eat, service is not great , need more help

Unimpressive American/Italian food from the 70's. Absolutely nothing impressive came out of the kitchen after a very long wait. Service was friendly and fine, but no need to go back for this menu.

Best Italian food hidden away in Maine. Authentic. Our waitress’s mother owns the place. It’s small and feels more like someone converted the living room of their home into a cozy restaurant. Decorated very Italian inside, my husband remarked, who has lived in Italy—murals on the walls, strand of lit-up grapes, stained glass—you will need to make reservations, but it’s worth it. It was perfect for our anniversary dinner—real rose on the table, real candle, classy music. It was the best Italian food we’ve ever had. Large portions. Reasonably priced for the venue. We didn’t spend more than we could have spent at a restaurant like The Cheesecake Factory.

Great Italian food when you’re in the Bridgton area.

Great food. As good as any place in Boston. Service a tad slow but the waitress was doing it all and busting her butt! Not bad service at all, but if you are in a hurry just be wary.

Delicious and authentic Italian cuisine! Venezia has a cozy atmosphere and the owners are attentive to creating a great song experience. Their gnocchis are amazing!

Wonderful meal & THE SERVICE was great! Our party of 8 was very well taken care of. Quiet setting and a fun place to dine.Nice wine list. We will go back over and over-BEST ITALIAN FOOD AREA, with that said my Brother in law had a killer steak!

We were in Bridgton for a fall colors weekend. All of us in the group had a restriction of having only vegetarian food without eggs. The owner explained the menu and how it can be customized to vegetarian taste. She confirmed everything with the chef. The food they made that day was highly delicious

Italian/Venetian inspired cuisine. The place is cozy with seating for about 30 max. The food was good, the staff was friendly and dinner with a shared appetizer for 4 with two bottles of wine was about $100 per couple with tip. We visited right after the Spring reopening so they may not have been operating at full stride yet. I knocked a star off only because the chicken and fish were slightly overcooked, but that could have been a fluke (pun intended).

Amazing Italian restaurant tucked away in Bridgton, ME! We go each year and plan on making our reservation in advance of our trip. You will not be disappointed with the delicious food, friendly service and homemade desserts. We look forward to visiting Venezia each year with our family!

North end of Boston quality Italian food in Maine. Pasta fagiole was awesome. Everything was authentic Italian. make a reservation or you might not get in!

Server was friendly food was very good. This is very much a sit down and get comfortable place, our party of 4 was there for 2 hours from seating to bill. It is a little on the expensive side but overall good.

I took my family here a few months ago and upon walking in, the female owner/hostess (yes, she seems to do everything from seat you to taking orders and making drinks) scowled at us and asked if we have reservations. When I said no, she gave a loud audible sigh, mumbled something and walked away. I waited in silence with my elderly parents. The hostess finally came back to seat us and made us feel uncomfortable the entire night. A VERY bad experience here. The atmosphere is small and uncomfortable and the prices are not so good. If this is a reservations-only place, they should list it online as such or at minimum have a sign out front. I am a Bridgton native and I will not return here.

Disappointed. Was delicious years ago. Doesn't taste Italian at all. The sauce is like tomato soup. No thanks.

Greeted by the happy staff, table was ready . Pleasant atmosphere.The meal was excellent. Food was well prepared with fresh quality ingredients. We always enjoy this spot.

Best meal I had in Maine

Everything we had was delicious, from the hot bread to fried mozzarella, to salad. The entrees of eggplant parmesan with fresh pasta and red sauce was delicious (according to my wife). Chicken-broccolli with garlic white wine with rotini awesome and both dishes was a good portion. We were plenty full but did take 2 cannolis home (yum). All courses arrived at a good pace & hot. Service was excellent for 1 waitress as restaurant was half full. Very enjoyable meal price$100 with 2 glasses of wine.
